Are caricatures really free?Back to top
| Yes. There is no fee for creating caricatures on our site and no extra fee for adding them to a Vistaprint product. You can create an unlimited number of caricatures on our site and save them to your account for repeated use on our printed products. |
| You can have anywhere from one to seven caricatures on most products. Our online tools will automatically size and position your caricatures to fit properly on each product, whatever number you choose. |
| Yes. During checkout (and from your My Caricatures page) you will be given the option to download your caricatures (for a fee) either as a group or as individual files. Downloaded caricatures are perfect for using online in your e-mail signatures, on web sites or in your instant messaging (for example: AIM, MSN Messenger, Adium, Yahoo! Instant Messenger). Once ordered, a file will be placed on your My Caricatures page containing a web-quality JPEG version of your caricature(s). Simply click to open it and save the image to your computer for unlimited use. |
| Extremely easy and fun, too! You create each caricature by simply clicking on a head shape, skin color, eye shape, eye color, mouth and nose combination, styles and colors for hair, glasses, headwear, jewelry, and other add-ons. In addition to creating caricatures for men, women, girls, boys and babies, you can create caricatures of your dog, cat, fish, horse or other pets. |
| Yes, simply click the Save for later button after you’ve created your caricatures. They will be saved in your account under My Caricatures. Please note: if you’re already signed in, your caricatures will be saved automatically. |
| There are three ways to do this.
(1) If you haven’t previously created the caricatures, click the Start with caricatures button above. Follow the instructions. When you finish creating the caricatures, click Next and you’ll see all the products available for caricatures. Simply choose a product, then select the design you like. Your caricatures will be automatically added to the product designs.
(2) If you want to add previously-created caricatures to a product, click the Start with caricatures button above. Then click Use Existing Caricatures. You’ll then be able to select from your saved caricatures to print on your product.
(3) Alternatively, if you want to add previously-created caricatures to a product, you can begin by selecting a product design first, then click on your chosen design to customize it. Click the Add Image icon in the toolbar above your design. A pop-up window will appear. Select Choose a caricature from My Caricatures. You’ll then be able to select from your saved caricatures to print on your product. |
