Changing .vpweb Domain Name

Basic domain names that come with the Starter Website Package can be changed at anytime. To change them, go to the "Domain Name Options" link on your website or business email dashboards. Select "Change Your Basic Domain Name" and select a new domain name. Please note that Basic Domain Names do not support a www prefix.

For a premium domain name (Standard and Professional Package), you can change your domain name within 5 days of selecting the domain name. If you're within the 5 day window, go to the "Domain Name Options" link on your website or business email dashboard. Click "Change the Domain Name Your Selected" to select a new domain.

If you chose your domain name over 5 days ago, we unfortunately cannot change the premium domain name. However, there are a few options:

Option 1: You can purchase the domain name rights. Once released, you'll be able to select a new domain name.

• Example: Bob has www.ABCPartners.com and now wants www.XYZPartners.com. He can purchase the domain name rights to ABCPartners.com. Once we release it to him, he can select www.XYZPartners.com as his new domain name. When people type www.ABCPartners.com into their browsers, they will not get to his Vistaprint website

Option 2: You can purchase the domain name from another registrar and and point it to your Vistaprint website

• Bob can purchase www.XYZPartners.com from another registrar and point it to his Vistaprint website. When visitors type in either www.ABCPartners.com or www.XYZPartners.com they will see his Vistaprint website.
