Design & Layout Tips
1. Think about your text.
Before you start, spend some time thinking about what you want to say. Keep sentences short and focused and consider highlighting essential information in bulleted sections.
2. Pick your visuals.
The images in your brochure should support your core message not compete with it. So, keep it simple and choose a few relevant, high-quality pictures.
3. Lay out your content.
Look at the amount of content you have to include to decide which fold is best for you. Then choose a template and start adding your information.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What are the shipping options for the custom brochures?
A: We offer 3 shipping speeds: Express shipping (3 business days), standard shipping (4-6 business days) and economy (8 business days). For more information about shipping click here.
Q: Are the size dimensions shown referring to when the brochures are folded or unfolded?
A: The dimensions displayed are the sizes of the brochures unfolded. For example, an 8.5” x 11” Bi-Fold brochure, is a US-letter sized paper folded in half to create a total of 4 printable panels.
Q: Can I add the holders after I finish creating my business brochure?
A: No. You will need to select the holder before you click on “start designing”, otherwise you won’t be able to add them separately or after finishing your design.
Q: Is the brochure paper coated on both sides? Can I write on the back?
A: Yes, our glossy and matte papers are coated on both sides. You can write on the paper stocks, but for the best effect, we recommend using a permanent marker or choosing the uncoated paper stock.
Q: Can I upload my own brochure design? What file formats do you support?
A: Yes. After you’ve chosen your product options and clicked on “Start designing”, you’ll be given an option to upload your own design. As for the file formats, we accept most common files including .pdf, .ai, .jpeg, .png, .doc and .ppt. We also offer Photoshop or Illustrator templates.
Q: Do you print custom-sized brochures?
A: No. Currently we only provide the sizes listed on this page.
Q: Can I see a proof of my design before I proceed with my order?
A: Yes. We offer a PDF proof feature that allows you to see how your custom brochures will look when printed and detect any errors before completing your order. On the design page click the “Proof” button on the top menu.
Q: Do I need to fold the brochures myself?
A: Absolutely not. We’ll fold your brochures for you before we send them out – they’ll arrive pre-folded and ready for use.
