Options for every style
You can choose from different sizes, covers and filler papers when personalizing your notebooks. Our 5.5" x 8.5" size is compact and portable, fitting easily into a tote bag, backpack or laptop bag for notes on the go, while the 8.5" x 11" size gives you more room to write, sketch or plan, and works well left on a desk or packed into a conference bag. When it comes to cover stocks, you can choose from glossy, pearl, soft touch or fine grit to complement your design and hold up to daily handling and travel. And for the filler paper, pick from blank, college-ruled, wide-ruled, dot grid or weekly planner style. Blank and dot grid pages are favorites for sketchbooks and creative journaling, while lined and planner styles suit note-taking, school assignments and daily planning. All filler paper is designed to resist bleed-through, so writing and light sketching stay clean on both sides of the page.

You can’t add custom elements to the inside or “filler” pages; however, we do offer 5 distinct inside page styles:
- Blank
- College-ruled
- Wide-ruled
- Dot grid
- Weekly planner
Blank and dot grid pages are a favorite among artists and designers, offering an open canvas for sketchbooks, idea books and creative journaling. College-ruled and wide-ruled pages suit everyday note-taking, school assignments and corporate planning, while weekly planner pages are built for structured daily and weekly scheduling. You can select one filler paper style per notebook, and customize your front, back and inside covers to match – giving you a notebook that's tailored both inside and out.
Our weekly planner filler paper is designed for structured weekly scheduling. We don't offer monthly or daily-specific planner layouts, but our dot grid and blank pages offer an alternative for anyone who wants to build their own monthly or daily planning system.
Wide-ruled paper has 8.7mm between lines, while college-ruled paper has 7.1mm between lines.
To customize your notebook, start by selecting a size, cover material and filler paper style. Then, upload your print-ready design, orbrowse our design templates. Once in our Studio design tool, you’ll be able to add your own personalized text and, depending on your use case, upload additional images or photos – like a business logo for corporate notebooks and client gifts, or photos for a memorable keepsake at weddings or special events.
For the sharpest, most professional-looking print, we recommend uploading vector files (like .ai or .eps) when possible, or high-resolution raster images at 300 DPI or higher. Lower-resolution images can appear blurry or pixelated once printed on the cover, so double-checking your file resolution before uploading helps avoid disappointing results.
We accept the following file formats: .jpg, .jpeg, .bmp, .png, .gif, .heic, .tif, .tiff, .pdf, .psd, .ai, .ait, .ppt, and .pptx.
Your cover choice comes down to personal preference and how the notebook will be used. All 4 are built to resist bending and general wear from daily use and travel, so your notebook stays looking sharp beyond the first day. Here’s a little bit more about each one:
- Glossy has a shiny finish that helps photos and bold designs pop, and offers a smooth, wipeable surface.
- Pearl features a light shimmering finish for a subtle, elevated look.
- Soft touch has a thick, velvety laminate that feels premium in hand and helps resist scuffing from everyday use.
- Fine grit offers a refined, grainy texture with a durable feel that holds up well to being tossed in a bag or handled often.
Keep in mind that the cover material is the same for the front and back.
The inside pages are made of regular paper.
Watermarks are not an option at this time.
