TAPE DOES NOT STICK TO THESE MAILERS

Packing tape does not adhere properly to these mailers; it peels off. If you attach your shipping labels with tape, I would not recommend ordering them. The sticky strip also does not adhere very well. We tested three different types of packing tape, and in every case the labels peeled off. When we contacted Vistaprint about the issue, they declined to provide a refund. Problems can happen with any company, but a company's true quality is reflected in how it responds when those problems arise. Unfortunately, Vistaprint's handling of this situation was disappointing, and based on this experience, I will not be using them again.

Made from a robust 2 mil material, most of our poly mailers can hold up to 5 lb. – including the gusseted options. Our 6" x 9" size option, however, has a reduced weight capacity of 3 lb.

Our poly mailers are made of budget-friendly polyethylene. This plastic material is durable, flexible and weather- and tear-resistant. We also offer a slightly thinner yet durable material option that’s compostable, after you tear open the mailer and throw away the perforated flap.

Some, not all. Our poly material isn’t, but our compostable option is – after you tear open the mailer and throw away the perforated flap. With proper conditions, this material will break down into non-toxic, organic matter. This is a mindful alternative to traditional disposal and a great way to help reduce your environmental impact.
