How to get started
Since the page count you choose affects how you order your design, it’s essential to use our design template to get started. You can find it under ‘Specs & Templates’ on this page. Once you’ve generated your custom template, download it in a format that matches your design software. After that, you can start building your booklet design file, referring to our perfect-bound booklet guidelines to make sure things like page order and bleed are all on track. Finally, finish up by uploading your artwork as a PDF file, selecting paper preferences and reviewing your design.

Perfect binding is a popular bookbinding method that uses a strong adhesive along the spine to create a clean, professional finish. Unlike staple binding, which uses metal staples to bind the pages, perfect binding involves gluing the pages to a sturdy cover. This gives it a more polished, seamless look.
Perfect-bound booklets are great if you need a lot of pages for your project, and if you’re looking for a more professional, polished look. We recommend them for high-end product catalogs, annual reports, course materials, company brochures, trade show materials and catalogs. We have more booklet offerings if you’re looking for lower page count options or different bindings.
Your perfect-bound booklets can include 20-1,086 pages – this includes 4 cover pages (front cover, inside front cover, back cover and inside back cover). For example, a 36-page booklet = 4 cover pages + 20 inside pages. You can select your page count in increments of 2: 40 pages, 42 pages, 44 pages and so on.
No, you’re not required to – you’ll just need to include blank pages in your print-ready PDF. But if you’d like to utilize all the space and add content to all 4 cover pages, you’re welcome to do that, too.

Inside paper

We don’t offer sample booklets, but you can order as few as 1 booklet. This is a great way to see how your printed booklet looks before you order a larger amount.
