I recently ordered some custom window decals for our office and I was very pleased with the quality. It was incredibly easy to set up the order, and it arrived in just a few days. Installing the decals was quick and simple, and there were step-by-step instructions for this process. My main critiques are that the protective film was a bit difficult to remove, so I ended up with some bent corners that did not lay completely against the window. The instructions for the soap and water portion of the installation process were also a little confusing, and I ended up with a large amount of bubbles and streaks that were tricky to remove. Overall, this was a great value for the price, and I would absolutely order more.

After a few hiccups in the design process, I finally received the decal. We followed the instructions to a T and ended up with so many bubbles. The clear decals do not appear in real life how they are perceived in the photos.

With clear decals, the appearance can differ in real-life application compared to online images, especially depending on the surface and lighting. For application, we recommend starting from the center of the decal and slowly working outward, using a flat edge such as a credit card to smooth the decal and remove any air bubbles as you go. Yes, we do. In addition to offering our standard square and rectangular shapes, you can now upload a custom one. You can design your custom shape to fit an area small as 5" x 5" or as large as 36" x 48".

Yes. Inside-glass decals are also known as second surface custom window decals. Similarly, outside-glass decals are sometimes referred to as first surface decals.

We recommend the “wet application” method:

  1. Clean: Make sure your window is clear of dust or particles
  2. Wet: Cover the window with a mix of warm water and washing up liquid.
  3. Apply: Peel your decal off the backing before you place it on the window.
  4. Smooth: Start from the center of the decal and use a flat edge (like a credit card) to remove any bubbles.

Yes. To reposition your decal, just peel it off the glass and follow the steps outlined in our application guide above.

We don’t recommend it. Our window decals are designed for use on flat glass.

We don’t recommend doing so. While our vinyl window decals can be repositioned easily, transporting and storing them for events can lead to dust and debris, which causes bubbling.

These window decals are made of premium vinyl material with a clear gloss finish. They are weather resistant and semi-permanent, but the adhesive allows for residue-free removal. We also have other decals such as window clings and perforated for different uses.

Yes – We recommend applying your vinyl adhesive in mild weather. Still, our decals can resist temperatures from -40° F to 225° F.

To ensure the best quality for custom-shaped products, please follow these design guidelines:

  1. Avoid small, floating elements
  2. Avoid very fine lines and detail
  3. Keep edges smooth and simple
  4. Upload high-resolution artwork
  5. Keep important text or parts of your design away from the safety lines laid out in the design tool

No, there’s no need to invert your design. Whether you choose an inside or outside application, text and graphics should be submitted in a left to right reading orientation.
