At VistaPrint, we’re committed to improving your design experience. To make customizing your products even more seamless and enjoyable, we’re upgrading the Change Size feature in Studio.

What’s Changing?

Here’s what you can look forward to:

Enhanced User Interface (U):
- The feature will now align with other product option components on our website, providing a more cohesive design experience.
Pricing Transparency:
- You'll see detailed pricing information for the various size options.
Orientation Selection:
- Choose your desired orientation directly within the resize modal.
Expanded Compatible Sizes:
- More size options will be available to suit your needs.
Broader Availability of the Change Size Button:
- The button can now be used in additional scenarios, including:
  - Items already added to your cart.
  - Studio sessions where you’re designing a custom size-enabled product but have selected a predefined size.
  - Cases where there isn’t a matching gallery template for the target size.
  - Products utilizing decoration technologies that previously didn’t support size changes.

Why Are We Making These Changes?

The current Change Size feature has limitations that sometimes require customers to redesign their projects from scratch. This could lead to frustration, unnecessary contact with our CARE team, or even abandoning the product altogether.

By upgrading this feature, we aim to:

Provide greater flexibility when resizing designs.
Enhance your experience, leading to fewer interruptions and a smoother workflow.
Improve conversion rates and enable upsell opportunities by showcasing realistic product visualizations.
Reduce the need for CARE assistance and ensure you feel confident in selecting the right size for your design.

Preview of the improvement of the Change Size feature

The change size feature will stay in the same place as before and you can access it through the Change size button in the Studio top menu.
You can choose both orientation and size.
The prices for the different options are shown.
The design is updated in real time to help you visualize the changes and select the correct size.
Once the size and/or orientation has been updated, a green confirmation will show on the screen.
