Option 1: Buy an address list

Select your location, list size and target audience, and we’ll generate a list of addresses in the area. Keep in mind that, for privacy reasons, list details won't be made public to you. But if you reuse our services within 1 calendar, the list will be available to you again, free of charge.

Option 2: Upload your list

Add contacts from your personal address list to our easy-to-use template (downloadable in the ‘Mailing List Template’ section above). We recommend having it filled out and ready to go before you start designing.

Option 3: Use a saved list

If you’ve used postcard mailing services before, sign in to VistaPrint to use a saved list. Purchased lists can be reused for 1 calendar year, and uploaded lists never expire.

*Please note: The durability of our postcards is a top priority for us, but there's a chance that they may be damaged or smudged when they’re processed through USPS equipment.

Unreadable gradient

The actual postcards are not readable on the gradient side like the original/proof

We are sorry to hear that the gradient side of your postcards was difficult to read. After reviewing your order, we noted that the font color selected did not create enough contrast with the background gradient, which contributed to the legibility issue. Regarding the color gradient issue, please note that this is common because screens use RGB (Red, Green, Blue), while our printing process uses CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black). As a result, printed colors can sometimes appear less vibrant or darker than they appear on your screen or proof. For improved readability in future orders, we recommend adjusting the text color to create greater contrast against the background. Also, carefully reviewing the preview mode and PDF proof before placing your order can also help ensure the best outcome. You may edit your artwork as needed and reorder at your convenience. Postcards were destroyed

All the cards that made their way into the store for our event were destroyed, including the sample sent directly to us. The glossy fronts were scraped off in many places. We have never had this issue when ordering postcards and mailing them ourselves. The design and printing seem to have been done well, but the damage was not worth it.

No One call for business

We never got the flyer mailed to us so how can you believe it went to business that we paid for, dont get one business call paid over $850. 00

Terrible

My cards were supposed to be delivered before Dec 24 and they were not. When they finally were delivered the cards looked terrible. The pictures were not even visable due to terrible printing and marks all over them. I will not pay this much again for bad work!

Use a saved list
If you've used postcard mailing services before, just log in to VistaPrint to access your saved lists. Purchased lists are reusable for 1 calendar year, while uploaded lists have no expiration date.

Our VistaPrint postcard mailing services make it easy for you to design, print and send postcard mailers – all in one stress-free experience. They help your small business greet potential customers, in a way that many find more personable than targeted advertisements online. Plus, list processing, address validation, address printing and delivery to the post office are all included in the cost.

We recommend using our downloadable Excel mailing list template to ensure you have the proper list format. We also accept Comma Separated Value (.CSV) files as long as the column headers match our template. You can find the download link to our mailing list template under ‘Mailing List Template’ section on this page.

Yes, once you upload your address list, it will be automatically saved to your account and you’ll be able to reuse it for future mailings. If you purchase a list with us, that'll also be saved in our system for 1 year.

For privacy reasons, we can't share purchased address lists with our customers. That said, we’ll save the list in our system for 1 year, so you can reuse it as many times as you like, without having to purchase a new one.

As a general rule, the postage (right side) address and barcode area (along the bottom) should remain blank in compliance with the USPS regulations. This area is kept blank in our templates, and our tool will also let you know which areas to keep blank as you design your postcards.

Yes – you can have undeliverable postcards forwarded no additional fee. You can also choose ‘deliver to the current resident’ or ‘discard’ instead. These options will be available for you at checkout.

  • Deliver it to current resident: The post office will deliver your mail to the current resident of that address. Free of charge.
  • Discard it: If undeliverable, your postcard will be discarded. Free of charge.
  • Forward to their new address: The post office will forward the postcard to the recipient's new address, if a forwarding address is on file. (Otherwise, the postcard will be discarded.). Free of charge.

Yes. Whenever you upload a mailing list, our system reviews each recipient’s information and notifies you if there are any errors. We also confirm deliverability, standardize your recipients’ address format and add Zip+4 when necessary.

Since USPS shipping can vary depending on your location and the time of year, it’s hard to give an exact estimate for each customer. Once you reach checkout, you’ll have a much more accurate estimate of shipping options. In the meantime, here are some factors to help you plan ahead:

  • Processing time: This refers to the time it takes for us to receive your order, print your postcards and prepare them for mailing. It can take up to 7 business days. You can choose rush processing to speed up the processing time by 2 days.
  • Shipping time: USPS will send your postcards using First Class Mail, typically taking up to 4 business days for delivery.
  • Scheduled shipping: If you’re preparing a marketing campaign in advance, you can schedule your postcards to arrive up to 4 weeks out from the earliest arrival date.

Not quite. Because of the printing and addressing process, we can’t offer direct mailing services with all our postcard options. That said, you can choose from matte, glossy and more paper stocks, as well as a a few thickness options.
