Disappointed of printing quality

Very disappointed with the print quality on our mailer box order. All our previous non-mailer box orders were fantastic – always crisp using our . ai files. But with these mailer boxes, the ink is blurry and seems to bleed, likely due to the matte, absorbent board material. We checked competitors' samples; their boxes have a better coating and the printing is perfectly sharp. We'll be going with a competitor for our mailer box needs.

I bought these mailer boxes to create PR packages for my upcoming debut fantasy A Dragon So Savage, I uploaded some character art to be on the box and OH MY GOODNESS it’s gorgeous!!!!! I’m not sure what I was expecting but I nearly cried when I put the first one together. It looks fantastic, 10/10 no notes. I will 1000% be ordering more!! Oh, also uploading and creating the box is super easy. They have a cool design tool to let you check every side as if it was pre assembled to make sure your design looks right, which was important for me since I had the title on there. It would have been embarrassing had it been upside down.

After choosing the options that work best for you, upload your logo or image to our online design studio. There you’ll use the editor to customize your packaging look or use the tools to reimagine an existing image. Remember to remove the die-lines from your uploaded image, otherwise they will be printed along with your design. Pro tip: For a more vibrant print, we recommend designs with darker tones or colors. Then, select the custom options that work best for your packaging look.

The weight of each mailer varies by size. See the chart below:

  • 5" x 3" x 1.5" weighs 1 oz.
  • 6" x 4" x 3" weighs 3 oz.
  • 6" x 5" x 2.25" weighs 4 oz.
  • 7" x 5" x 3" weighs 4 oz.
  • 8" x 6" x 3" weighs 5 oz.
  • 9" x 6" x 4" weighs 5 oz.
  • 9" x 7" x 2.25" weighs 5 oz.
  • 9.5" x 7.75" x 4" weighs 8 oz.
  • 11.25" x 9" x 3" weighs 8 oz.

We recommend clear packaging or poly tape to best show off and preserve your design. When packing, we recommend you overlap the tape and make sure the tape stretches several inches down the either side of the box.

E-flute is very thin (1/16") corrugated cardboard. It’s very easy to fold and is excellent for printing. Sturdy and crush resistant, it’s a good option for shipments – we do not recommend these mailers for very large or heavy items.
