We understand how critical that feature is, and we sincerely apologize for this frustrating experience. We wanted to look into this for you to provide some clarity. Upon checking your order, we can confirm you selected the smallest sticker size we offer. For a complex graphic like a QR code, which needs every small detail to be perfectly clear, printing it on a very small surface can unfortunately affect its ability to be scanned properly. You also mentioned you wish we would have told you before printing. While we do have a Spot Quality Check at our facility, our quality team is focused on printing defects like smudges or cuts and is only able to see some orders within the thousands we fulfill every day. For design-specific issues like this, our system relies on the customer's final approval. This is why previews and PDF Proofs are easily accessible on the website, as they provide the most accurate representation of the final product and allow customers to catch potential issues like this before ordering. However, we absolutely want to look into this further for you and see how we can help. To help us review the final print, could you please share a few photos of the sticker showing the QR code? Frequently asked questions
Our product labels are printed on white paper, clear plastic and gold or silver foil paper. But that doesn’t mean that you’re limited to these color options. With our all-over printing in full color, you have the flexibility to get creative with your custom designs as much (or as little) as you’d like!
Your stickers will be printed on sheets that are 8.5" x 11".
Yes. If you intend to use your labels on bottles or cans, we recommend picking the matte paper option, as it’s the easiest to write on. We also suggest that if you select the glossy finish for your candle labels and custom wine labels that you use a permanent marker.
Paper labels are a great, durable option for indoor use and with dry-ingredient products – if your labels won’t come in contact with liquid, you’ll be in great shape. If you intend to label products that contain (or are exposed to) oil, lubricants or cold temperatures, we recommend our clear plastic option – it's both oil- and water-resistant.
You can order a single sheet of custom labels for bottles to try them out before committing to a higher quantity.
