Yes – for a successful print, we recommend following these design tips and upload specifications. - __Format:__ Your file needs to be in PDF format – without password protection. - __Layout:__ Your file should include single pages, each arranged in the correct reading order. Make sure your file includes all of your pages – including 4 cover pages. - __Blank Pages:__ If you want blank inside cover pages, make sure you include blank pages within your PDF file. - __Colors:__ Stapled booklets are printed in CMYK. Images provided in RGB or PANTONE colors will be converted. - __Resolution:__ 300dpi is the required resolution for stapled booklets. Lower resolutions may affect the printing quality. - __Bleeds:__ For an accurate print, include a 1/8" (0.125 in) bleed on every side of every page. If you encounter file upload issues, double-check your bleed – it may exceed the accepted ±0.125 threshold. - __Margins:__ Keep all text at least 1 cm from the margins. Anything closer may be too close to the edge (or the binding) to easily read. I was happy to receive the booklets in a timely manner. However, they had a weird yellow/ green tint that altered all the pages of the booklets. With this being used for something so dear to me as my grandma’s funeral. I was very disappointed. The ink was good and the print was good but the color alteration was upsetting.

We ordered saddle-stick booklets and the covers were fine, but the interior pages had a green cast which made the photos look terrible. Customer service is having them reprinted and refunded our shipping costs. The color was so inaccurate that I'm baffled as to how this made it out the door.

Saddle-stitched is another term for stapled. It means that the booklets are bound with staples. Perfect bound booklets, on the other hand, are bound with glue. Saddle-stitch booklets are considered low-cost and durable, a straightforward choice for an assortment of projects or business needs – we particularly recommend them for price lists, product catalogs, event programs, brochures, pamphlets and magazines. They also work well for restaurants or cafes in need of longer, more detailed menus.

Your stapled booklets can include 8-76 pages – this includes 4 cover pages (front cover, inside front cover, back cover and inside back cover). For example, an 8-page booklet = 4 cover pages + 4 inside pages. You can increase or decrease a stapled booklet’s page count in increments of 4: 12 pages, 16 pages, 20 pages, etc.

No, you’re not required to - you’ll just need to include blank pages in your print-ready PDF. But if you’d like to utilize all the space and add content to all 4 cover pages, you’re welcome to do that, too.
