From our review of the mug, there is only one color option available for printing, which is the color that your font was printed in. As such, black is not an option. Also, this is the same color that your last order for these mugs was printed in. In the future, we recommend that you carefully review the product options and design to ensure that it meets your needs. I ordered a speckled bistro mug with Nonna etched into it, along with some flowers. It is just gorgeous and the etching is even deeper than I expected. It shows up nicely on the dark blue background and makes me feel good every time I use it. The mug is a perfect size, a little larger than usual, but not humongous, and it keeps my tea nicely warm. I'm so please with it and recommend it to others.
