Note Pads - thin paper & cardboard

I had 3 larger notepads printed as a gift for a family member. They are printed well and look beautiful but I deducted a star because the paper (individual pages) is very thin and the backer cardboard is flimsy making the whole pad a little floppy. If the notepad was smaller it wouldn't be such a big deal but it is one of the largest sizes so the whole should be more rigid than it is.
