The ink appeared dull on these since it was a recycled stock. . Not as nice as the spot varnish version. I tried these since the client really wanted recycled, but the spot varnish was WAY better!

Because recycled paper is uncoated and more absorbent, it can naturally result in a more "muted" or dull appearance for the ink compared to premium finishes. Upon checking your file, we can confirm that your uploaded design works very well with a varnished or glossy finish. These finishes allow the ink to sit on the surface, which provides the vibrancy and depth you experienced with the spot varnish version. While we appreciate your client's preference for recycled materials, we would recommend reconsidering a glossy or spot varnish finish for this specific design in the future to ensure the colors remain as bold as possible.
