Frequently asked questions
To calculate how many custom napkins you’ll need, consider the number of guests as well as any provisions you’ll be serving.
For casual or semi-formal events that feature lighter fare, we suggest ordering 2-3 napkins per person. If you’re offering a meal or buffet in addition to snacks or appetizers, add an extra 1-2 napkins for each guest.
If you’re hosting a formal event, such as a wedding or fundraiser, we suggest starting with 3-4 napkins per person – you can add more based on the event’s offerings. For example, if you’re including a dessert table, add an extra 1-2 napkins per person. If the event includes dinner and you decide you don’t want cloth dinner napkins, be sure to add 1-2 paper napkins per guest.

Yes – and it’s quick and easy. You can add your logo onto a blank napkin of your choice by clicking on “Upload your design”, or you can upload it onto an existing design you love (some of our business templates even have specific spots for logos). For best results, use a high-resolution logo for your custom napkins (we recommend images with at least 300 dpi).
That depends on which napkin style you choose! Our cocktail napkins measure 4.75″ x 4.75″ overall with a 4.25″ x 4.25″ design area, while our luncheon napkins measure 6.5″ x 6.5″ with a 6″ x 6″ design area.
Cocktail napkins are normally smaller than luncheon napkins, and are designed to be used with drinks and appetizers during cocktail hours and receptions. Luncheon napkins are more commonly used for sit-down meals where cutlery is needed, like lunches, brunches or dinners.
