If you want to write on them, the ink will not dry. It will smear. Even a sharpie has issues smearing. Otherwise, the pearl finish gives an elegant sheen to the card that is very pretty and soft to the touch.

they came out perfectly

I was shocked that they came out so perfect! the proof online looked amazing and I figured that the quality was going to be a little lower than what it was showing, but no! the text is crystal clear, the pearl touch is so subtle and high quality, and I had flowers and the whole background and it came out so balanced and clear. Frequently asked questions

This paper works best with lighter-colored designs. Rich pops of a darker accent color print beautifully, but if your design is mostly black or dark grey, you’re less likely to see the full shimmer effect. And if your design uses photographs, you may want to consider a different paper stock.

Out pearl business cards are made using a 16pt premium paper. Each point (pt) is equal to .001 of an inch, to give you a frame of reference.
