I work outside in all kinds of weather and need various types of jackets. As other reviews have said, it is a bit on the light weight thin side. But this is perfect for warm weather storms. I didn't over heat and I stayed dry. Last week I worked in a downpour and the jacket kept me dry. I love how the jacket covers my backside. The hood is comfortable and stays in place. The design keeps rain coming in from the neck. Also, deep pockets!!!! I can put my phone in one of several pockets and can zip up the pocket.
