Gildan® Heavy Cotton™ Youth T-Shirt

There are several things not quite what I wanted or expected but nothing is "off" or bad enough to return it or have it reprinted. The tee shirt I chose was a Gildan heavy weight and the one I got did not feel heavy weight at all. Usually I get Gildan heavy weight tees at Joann Fabric so I am well aware of how they feel. Strike one. The printing on the shirt was from a JPG I prepared so I fault myself for the darkness of the printout but I'm surprised they didn't bother checking it; lack of customer centricity in my mind. Strike Two. The printed area was super thick and had a slick finish, like the printout was a liquid poured out 1/16" thick onto an area and allowed to solidify into a thick rubbery surface. I don't know if they print in this "thick" print manner but the rubbery surface made this a difficult material with which to work. Strike three. The photo-print area was being used to create 2 quilt blocks and then "set" and added to a patchwork quilt. The thickness and slickness of the rubbery finish will make these blocks not quilt as well as the rest of the quilt as well. Oh well. As I said, none of these 3 strikes is bad enough to push me to return the items or ask for them to be reprinted. This is the "quality" (or lack thereof) I expected from VistaPrint so I suppose it's safe to say they lived down to my expectations. They were cheap, 2-weeks fast and easy since I could do everything online and my customer lives in another state. I won't use them for a tee shirt print again though. CafePress or Teespring next time.

The picture on the 2 youth size t-shirts was much darker/dull compared to all the adult t-shirts. Not happy with them. The adult shirts are fine.

Ordered all blue and they came in different shades also sizes were wrong. I had to mediums and one was smaller than the other???
