Embossed gloss (also called raised spot UV) is a printing option that adds a raised, glossy layer in selected areas of your design on the front of your postcards. This creates an eye-catching visual that helps your logo and other key information stand out from the rest of your design.

If you choose embossed gloss postcards, you can highlight key elements of your front design – your logo, business name and message. The result will be visually distinctive postcards with a sophisticated look and feel that will catch the recipient's attention.

First, pick the size and orientation that works for you. Then, browse our customizable design templates and choose one you like . Finally, select which parts of your design you want to highlight with embossed gloss. Our design studio will let you preview everything before you complete your order.

You can apply embossed gloss to any text and image element on the front of your postcard, up to 25% of the design. We recommend keeping your design simple and highlighting your logo, key message or a specific image.

Our embossed gloss postcards are printed on 16pt premium matte paper stock. Each point (pt) is equal to 0.001 inches, which means that they are 0.016 inches thick.
