Writes good, weird assembly choices
Sep 17, 2026 | Daniel G. |

United StatesWrites good, weird assembly choices lead me to want to locate a different pen for my business. Stylus is great, pen's ink transfer is satisfying to everyone I've given this pen to. Pen feels premium in material, light in weight.
Pen's cap is tight and difficult to pull off fresh from the box, recommend taking off and putting it back on before giving one to a client or filling your pen cup.
Pen has a nice rubber grip underneath the pen's lid, then a silver-colored pen tip area. The weird part: to access the pen's ink tube, it unscrews from the top of the rubber grip, rather than between the rubber grip and the silver pen tip. The only reason it's odd is, because of the pen cap struggle, testers attempt to twist and unscrew, and sometimes succeed to disassemble the pen without removing the cap. This is not ideal.
Response from Vistaprint Customer Care Team:
Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback on our custom pens. We're pleased to hear that you enjoy the stylus, smooth ink transfer, and premium feel of the pen. We sincerely apologize for the difficulty removing the cap and the unexpected assembly design. We understand how this can be inconvenient when preparing pens for clients. To help us look into this further, could you please respond with a photo of the pen and your order number? This will allow our team to review the issue and determine the best way to assist you. We appreciate your time and patience.
