I designed and purchased a 7. 5 x 7. 5 pop-up banner for a trade show for the Construction Company I work for, and it was beautiful! We had photos added to the banner, and the design team was so helpful in making sure the pictures were of good quality and would present well on such a large banner. We were very pleased!! I made last-minute plans to go to an out-of-state conference as a sponsor and needed a large banner (wth hardware) and pop-up displays for my booth. The team at VistaPrint worked very closely with my assistant to get it all designed, printed and delivered to me on time. Have always been happy with VistaPrint but this 10' backdrop pop-up banner turned out way too light - even though the images I was shown as proofs looked as dark as they'd been designed. In addition, because the fabric attaches only with little velcro squares, it was impossible to get it nice and taut. We did the best we could at the trade show, and we camouflaged the droopy appearance by strategically arranging our vertical retractable banners - which turned out great. I'm now very leery of anything printed on fabric - this is the second time we've had a fabric backdrop turn out either the wrong color, or be too light. I suppose that's the challenge of printing on fabric, but I didn't get any warning notices about either backdrop (the one with the wrong color we purchased last year. ) I would have appreciated a heads up that there was a possibility that the colors wouldn't look right, and I could have had the pop-up redesigned. As it is, this was an expensive ($1200) mistake because we won't be using it again at future trade shows. :( We were so, so disappointed - we had been so excited to see it, expecting it to look like the proofs.

You're absolutely right—printing on fabric can sometimes result in lighter color output due to the material’s texture and how it absorbs ink. While we aim to accurately display how designs will appear in print, certain fabric characteristics can slightly alter the outcome, and we regret that you weren’t given a clear warning or guidance on this upfront.
Regarding the fit of the display, we also appreciate you pointing out the challenge with the velcro attachment. We want to ensure our products are easy to use and presentable, so we’ll definitely share this insight with our product team for review.
