The stand that holds up the banner is extremely low quality and really difficult to insert at the base of the stand. Based on previous experiences with retractable banners I know that if the banner suddenly slips, it will rip up completely. Not happy for the price I paid.

Color match was perfect, retractable piece broke our first day

First of all, I really appreciated the color match and the turn around time. It came sooner than expected. I really like the ease of putting this vertical banner up. My friends have many of these banners that have lasted many trade shows over the years. Unfortunately, ours broke the first day, before the event started. I only downgraded to 4 stars vs 1 star, because I have lots of friends who use these very successfully. I'm not sure what happened. Maybe when we pulled it out, we pulled too hard? Or maybe we had it slightly off-center and that stressed the tension rod? We lucked out that I am kind of a McGyver so I was able to rig the vertical banner to work, and if I had more time, maybe I could pull the retractable piece apart and see if I could completely fix it. We got the cheapest option for the vinyl, not sure if that was a factor or not. For $150 (or something like that), and getting through one event. . . I'm mildly disappointed that we can't reuse it as is. My Executive Director was thinking it would be a lot more money, so he's okay with it not lasting. So we feel like for the money, we got the value we wanted. Thanks

One of the images is blurry despite confirming with technical support that shared all images were non-blurry prior to order placement. The banner base with the hole for the pole is cut too close to the edge. I have to be careful not to place any pressure for fear of the metal splitting. My first time purchasing this item particular item. I'm not impressed.

Frequently asked questions

Follow these 4 easy steps to get set up:

1. Case: Open your carrying case and remove the cassette and pole.

2. Cassette: Set your cassette on the ground. Turn the stabilizing foot/feet perpendicular to the cassette.

3. Pole: Connect the pole pieces and then insert into the hole in the cassette.

4: Banner: Using both hands, pull the top of the banner up from the cassette and attach it to the top of the pole.

Here are a few other tips to know before you get started:

  • Don’t try to pull the banner above the height of the pole. Doing so may damage the retracting mechanism.

  • Be careful with the edges and make sure they’re not caught up in the cassette, which could fray or scratch your design.

  • When connecting the pole pieces for the standard cassette, find the round part inside the hole and stick the pole into it to make sure the banner stands straight.

The biggest difference between these banners is the material used and the display options.

Retractable Banners: This style includes a vinyl, PVC-free vinyl or polyester fabric banner that comes preassembled with a stand and case. Multiple cassettes and sizes available.

Mesh Banners: Made of woven polyester mesh, these banners are best for outdoor and windy conditions, with included grommets and reinforced edges.

Fabric Banners: Made of recyclable, scratch-resistant polyester with included grommets. Great for indoor and outdoor use.

When you're setting up standard or premium roll-up styles, make sure to turn the bottom foot/feet perpendicular to the stand. The premium plus cassette has a hidden base for a modern and clean look.

  • Use large fonts and images so people can see your text from a distance

  • Contrast your background and text colors to ensure clear readability

  • Focus on one main message that people can quickly understand

  • Ensure your design is 150+ DPI for sharp, high-quality printing
