No, but grommets are highly recommended for a secure, reinforced hold when you’re using rope or zip ties. Review this chart for the number of grommets needed for each banner size and printed side. If you choose a custom size and want grommets, we’ll automatically add the right amount to your banner for you.

Our heat-welding process reinforces the edges of your banner, making it better suited for outdoor and long-term use. We recommend both edge reinforcement and grommets if you’re hanging your banner outside for a long time.

We recommend our retractable banners if you’re looking to use a stand. They come preassembled with a banner, stand and case for a quick and easy set up.

The protective glossy coating adds a shiny finish that makes colors pop and helps protect against scratches. The blockout feature prevents light from passing through your banner – available as an upgrade for our indoor material and built-in to heavy-duty outdoor. Our heavy-duty material is a thicker and tougher vinyl made to last longer outdoors in harsh weather.

Wrinkles should smooth out over time. But if you need to speed up the process, place your vinyl banner under a heavy flat object to get the wrinkles out. To avoid creasing while storing, don’t put anything on top of the banner. We also recommend washing your hands every time you handle the banner.

To clean your banner

• Lay it flat on a clean surface.
• Use a soft cloth or sponge with a solution of mild soap (like dish soap) and lukewarm water.
• Wipe gently to remove dirt and dust.
• Rinse the soap residue.
• Once cleaned, always roll your banner instead of folding it. Folding creates sharp creases that can be permanent, weaken the vinyl, and cause the ink to crack or lift.
• Store in a cool, dry and dark environment.
• Keep the tube stored horizontally on a flat shelf.
• Avoid leaning it vertically against a wall for long periods, as the weight of the banner can cause the bottom edge to warp or flatten over time.
