The new ‘frosted’ business cards are more transparent. It doesn’t have a wow factor. It’s meh. A little disappointed.

Wow. I love these!!! I ordered 50, and I will definitely be ordering more. I got these because my business name, Glass House Hoyas, would pair well with these cards, being frosted and slightly transparent. I will attach a video of them because photos do not do them justice. I am using these for more high dollar orders and promo boxes and I have received a lot of compliments on them so far. They have a really nice texture too, it's almost soft. It's a matte finish but soft is the best way I can describe them. They are just very nice.

What i recieved and what the screen displayed, do not match. I imagine this will get better over time as technology advances.

Soon as I received the cards I called in because the white background was bleeding through and visible on the front of my cards. I didn’t have any white, so this was a bit odd/off to see. The colors were also off and not close to my actual colors. The rep was very pleasant and very helpful. I am still waiting for my corrected batch to show up. Also the frosted paper on the back is peeling off of some of them.

No – our frosted business cards don’t include that technology. While you can add a QR code, we don’t (and legally can’t) offer the black “mag strips” or NFC chips for them.

Though you can use our frosted business cards for alternative uses like loyalty programs or generic membership cards, we cannot legally print any design that looks like an ID card, credit card or bank card.

Yes, you can! We offer both clear business cards and white plastic business cards (that you can print any background color on).

Yes, there are a few things to keep in mind. First, backside printing is not available with frosted business cards. Next, any area in your design that’s white will print as white, so be sure to check the preview before approving your design. And lastly, we don’t recommend full-bleed images or designs, since that’ll minimize the visual effect of the material.

Yes, frosted cards are roughly 3.5" x 2", the same measurements as a standard business card. For more info about card dimensions, check out our business card size guide.
