This is a suitable bag for carrying a laptop. There is not a ton of padding, so I would be selective with the environments where I use the bag. It fits our 14" laptop great and there is a good amount of space for additional items. We ordered a small quantity of bags and several of them came with broken clasps. I will be reaching out to CS, but have not done so yet.
