Our outdoor canopy tents are engineered for real life: The heavy-duty steel frame has 0.5" thick criss-cross support poles for extra stability, and the water-resistant, UV-protected polyester fabric is NFPA 701-certified flame-retardant for added peace of mind. At 51.5 lbs., this industrial-grade steel build has some heft – but the included wheeled case makes it easy to move and set up, solo or with a partner. For extra hold in windy conditions, pick up ground stakes and rope at your local hardware store to anchor your pop-up shelter.

I hope my experience is not the norm, but it took one month to deliver, even after paying the express shipping fee. Vistaprint did refund the express fee after it missed the deadline, but it was expressed shipped for a reason. That was the first attempt. After the first order was lost they sent the replacement, but I already missed one of the events we needed the tent for. The second event was about 2 weeks away and they assured me it would be delivered the day before then. A few days before the event I check the status and see it is still in production. I reach out to Monique, who was very helpful throughout this process and she tells me that the production team guaranteed it would leave that night, and, it didn’t. So second event missed. The day before the 3rd event it finally arrived but that was after SEVERAL emails, and Monique applying pressure to the team there. If it wasn’t for her, I likely would still not have it. The canopy quality is very nice, but there was a huge random spring just kind of thrown in there and I don’t see it anywhere on the instructions, and I still don’t know where it goes, and couldn’t find any information online or with the instructions. If you need your canopy within 2-3 weeks, get it from somewhere else. We got this canopy for 3 specific events and didn’t have it for 2. They did refund 50% of the purchase, and it’s better than nothing, but I didn’t have for the first event, had to buy a basic one locally for the second event, and it was just a huge stressful headache. Grateful for the customer service team in their attempts to make it right, but vista fell short big time on this

The canopy design I ordered was black with white text for a 10x10 frame. The actual product I received was white text on streaked dark gray/reddish brown. The fabric is decently thick, but already shows stress at the seams after one use. The fit is poor, tending toward oversized - on the frame, the apex of the canopy is loose (and has no vent), and the corners significantly overshoot the edge. There are four rings for securing the canopy, and nothing else - no velcro closures, no ties, nothing to secure the fabric to the frame. If you're looking to invest in a custom setup, consider shelling out a little extra for a dedicated company that will produce a higher quality product.

Frequently asked questions

You’ll create your custom canopy in our 3D design studio. Once there you can add backgrounds, images, shapes, text and more. As you add each of these things, you’ll be able to see them on your fully-assembled tent. You’ll even be able to turn it around and to the side for a view of all angles. Make sure you pay close attention to the safety lines shown so your design is visible from all angles. Need more help? Contact our design experts.

We recommend a 2-person setup for the fastest assembly – typically under 5 minutes:

1. Prep: Stand the frame up, then pull the legs slightly apart. Drape the fabric over the top, attaching it at each corner.

2. Expand: Alternating at each end of the tent, pull the legs of the frame apart slowly, until the frame is fully extended.

3. Lift: Unlock the frame’s corner connectors and lift until they click into place. Use the crank to raise the canopy’s point.

4. Secure: Double check the corner connectors.

Setting up solo? Just walk each leg out a few inches at a time, corner by corner, to keep the frame balanced. It'll take a bit longer than a 2-person setup, but works well in a pinch.

Yes. The durable polyester not only stands up to rainy weather, it's also UV-resistant. Standard ground stakes and rope can be picked up from a local hardware store for typical outdoor conditions. For wind gusts exceeding 15 mph, we recommend picking up heavy-duty sandbags or cast-iron leg weights from a local hardware store and attaching them to each leg for added stability.

Yes. If you own an eligible VistaPrint canopy tent frame, you can order a new custom-printed canopy fabric only – no need to buy a full new set. This is a great way to update your booth branding, launch a new product or run a seasonal promotion without paying for a new frame. This option fits VistaPrint frames purchased on or after April 8, 2026. If your frame was purchased before this date, the fabric-only option may not fit correctly, and we'd recommend ordering the complete bundle instead. Please note: This canopy fabric is designed to fit VistaPrint canopy tent frames only and isn't compatible with other brands.

Yes. Telescopic legs mean that you can adjust your tent’s height up to a maximum of 11.5'.

Our portable canopy tents come in 10' x 10' or 10' x 15' sizes. When fully constructed and in place, the dimensions are: 118.5" W x 138.25" H x 118.5" D. When packed into the included carrying case for transport, the dimensions are 61.38" H x 8.37" W x 8.37" D – handy to check against your vehicle's trunk or cargo space before you order.

The tent frame weighs 36 lbs., while the polyester custom canopy fabric weighs 8.5 lbs. The entire set – frame, fabric and case – weighs a total of 51.5 lbs. Your carrying case includes wheels to make it easier to transport.

The criss-cross support poles under the tent are .5" thick.

Yes. The tent fabric is NFPA 701-certified.

Stick with vector files (.ai, .eps or .svg) when you can –.jpg images tend to blur once they're blown up to tent size. Uploading a .jpg anyway? Aim for 150 DPI or higher, and keep text at least 2" tall so it's still legible from a distance.
Before you order, use our 3D design studio to preview your tent from every angle – it's the easiest way to catch spacing issues early. Got a QR code in your design? Zoom out in the preview to do a quick scan test and make sure it still reads clearly from farther away. And keep an eye on the safe-zone guidelines in the studio. They show you which areas stay visible from all sides, so nothing important gets cut off or wraps around a corner.
