Yes. If you have a design ready to go, you can upload it after selecting your size and other options. For the best print quality, set up a 0.125-inch bleed margin around your design and save your file at 350 DPI resolution. We accept high-resolution TIFF and PDF files, plus .jpg, .jpeg, .bmp, .png, .gif, .heic, .psd, .ai, .ait, .ppt and .pptx. Uploading a high-resolution TIFF or PDF instead of a compressed JPEG helps keep your text and images sharp, especially around small details like logos and QR codes.
For the best print results, set up your design with a 0.125-inch full bleed, meaning your background color or image should extend 0.125 inches past the trim line on all sides. Keep any important text or logos inside the safe zone, at least 0.125 inches inside the trim line, so nothing gets cut off during trimming.
Custom flyers work well alongside other direct mail pieces. If you’re mailing in bulk, look into Every Door Direct Mail (EDDM) options with your local postal service, which let you target specific routes without needing individual addresses. Or, for door-to-door distribution, pair your flyers with door hangers to reinforce your message at each stop. Flyers can be an effective marketing option for a variety of industries. They're an easy way to share detailed information in a format customers can keep on hand. Custom flyers are simple to use, whether you mail them, add them to takeaway bags or tuck them into mail-order shipment boxes. Standard glossy and matte have 5pt thickness, similar to magazine paper. Premium glossy and matte have a 9.5pt thickness, offering a notably higher-quality feel. All of our matte and glossy options are coated on both sides, except for 14pt and 16pt glossy stock, which is coated on the front only.
If you plan to write on your flyers, uncoated, recycled or matte stocks are easier to write on with a ballpoint pen, while glossy stock works best with a permanent marker.
For mailing, a 5" x 7" flyer fits standard mailing guidelines. If you’re including flyers as a package insert, smaller sizes like 4" x 6" or 2.5" x 4" are easy to slip in without adding bulk. For trade shows or in-person events, a larger size like 8.5" x 11" gives you more room for details and stands out in a stack of handouts.
To keep your QR code scannable, keep it at least 0.75" x 0.75". Avoid placing your QR code over dark or busy parts of your design, since low contrast can keep phone cameras from picking it up. Before you print, test your QR code on a few different phones to confirm it scans correctly.
If you’re creating flyers for real estate or another industry where presentation matters, premium, premium plus or deluxe card stock gives you a thicker, more upscale feel that holds up well when handed out one-on-one. For high-volume distribution, like door-to-door drops or mailers, a lighter budget or standard weight is more cost-effective while still holding up through the mail or a mailbox drop.
