Great but needs improvement

Love these products but Unsure if it is user error or not. Just got stamp when using on flat surface the ink prints splotchy not sure how to fix that or if is the ink pad itself. Also it prints at an angel not sure if that is normal in past I haven’t experienced that with these stamps but the logo has to be held sideways when using or prints at angel.

The quality of the current stamp is not as good as the last that I purchased. There is no lock on the stamp. Material is a little flimsy.
