• 4.6" × 7.2": This is a classic size that works beautifully for most weddings and fits standard envelopes. It’s ideal if your wording is concise or if you’re including separate detail cards.
• 6" × 9": This larger size is perfect for formal weddings, elaborate designs or invitations with more text, illustrations or decorative elements. And not to fear, although this is a larger invite size, we carry custom envelopes that come in 6" × 9" as well.

However, if you're planning a destination wedding or need to accommodate international guests, it's better to send out your invites around 3 months in advance.
