Inferior quality compared to last order

The package was not sealed and some of the labels were damaged. The person who delivered these also " made them fit " into our regular size mailbox so all were bent! Quality was not what Im used to with Vista Print.
Response from Vistaprint Customer Care Team:
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your labels arrived with damaged and bent sheets, and that the package was not properly sealed. We understand how disappointing this is, especially when the quality did not meet the standard you’ve come to expect from VistaPrint. If possible, could you please share a photo of the damaged labels and packaging? This will help us better understand the issue and provide the appropriate feedback to our quality and shipping teams. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention.

Beautiful quality and exactly as designed!

My candle labels turned out beautifully! The print is crisp, the colors came through exactly as I hoped, and even the smaller details and lettering are clear and easy to read. The matte finish gives them a really polished, professional look, and I’m very happy with the overall quality. These are for my small business, so getting the design and print quality right was especially important to me. I’m so excited to use them on my candles!

Frequently asked questions

Our product labels are printed on white, clear or holographic plastic, as well as white, gold foil or silver foil paper. But that doesn’t mean that you’re limited to these color options. With our all-over printing in full color, you have the flexibility to get creative with your custom designs as much (or as little) as you’d like!

Your labels will be printed on sheets that are 8.5" x 11".

Yes. If you intend to use your labels on bottles or cans, we recommend picking the matte paper option, as it’s the easiest to write on. We also suggest that if you select the glossy finish for your candle labels and custom wine labels that you use a permanent marker.

Paper labels are a great, durable option for indoor use and with dry-ingredient products – if your labels won’t come in contact with liquid, you’ll be in great shape. If you intend to label products that contain (or are exposed to) oil, lubricants or cold temperatures, we recommend one of our plastic options – they're both oil- and water-resistant.

You can order a single sheet of custom labels for bottles to try them out before committing to a higher quantity.

Determining the right label size depends on the container or surface you’re working with. While we’ve outlined some basic guidelines below, be sure to measure the area you’ll be using for your labels and compare it to our size options.

  • 1" x 1", 1" x 2", 1" x 3", 1.5" x 1.5": Fits 1-2 lines of text or a small logo. Best for slim bottles and jars, small dropper bottles, jar lids and bag seals.

  • 2" x 2", 2.5" x 2.5", 2" x 3": Versatile, with room for a logo, plus a product name or tagline. Best for small jars, hot sauce bottles, spice pouches and small candles.

  • 2" x 3.5", 2.5" x 3", 2" x 4": Fits branding plus a short ingredient list. Best for small to medium bottles, sauce jars and cosmetic pots.

  • 3" x 3", 3.5" x 3.5", 3" x 4": Great for showcasing bold graphics. Best for medium and large jars, large candle tins, snack pouches and coffee bags.

  • 3" x 5", 3.75" x 5": Has sufficient room for a logo, product name and ingredients. Best for large pouches and jars, supplement containers and pet food bags.

  • 4" x 4", 4" x 6": Offers a strong visual impact. Best for quart containers, extra large jars, retail boxes and bulk pouches.

  • 5" x 5": Our largest size. Best for large flat boxes, extra large pouches and bulk bags.

To ensure your text and QR codes are legible, we’ve offered a few key guidelines. Read on.

Choose the right font size: We recommend making any text on your label at least 8pt. However, if there’s any information that you want to stand out (product names, claims, etc.), 12pt or larger is preferable.

Pick a high-contrast design: Use a design that features dark colors on a light background or vice versa. If you’re opting for our clear plastic labels, keep in mind the color of the surface you’ll be adding the label to.

Make your QR code large enough: If you’re adding a QR code to your product labels, we advise making the code at least 1" x 1". Note that opting for our smaller label sizes (1" x 1", 1" x 2", 1" x 3" and 1.5" x 1.5") could affect your QR code’s scannability.
