Dear Vistaprint Customer Service, I’m reaching out regarding a recent order of business cards that I designed and had printed through Vistaprint. Overall, I’m happy with the quality of the design and printing itself. However, I’m not satisfied with the final result because of the way the artwork was cropped and resized during the printing process. My logo and overall design were reduced in size, which resulted in noticeable blank white sidebars along the edges of the business cards. Unfortunately, this significantly changes the intended appearance of the design. The artwork was meant to extend across the full length and width of the business card without any blank white borders or sidebars. Because of this issue, the cards do not properly represent my business or branding, and I’m unable to use them professionally. I would therefore like to request a full refund for this order so that I can correct the sizing, cropping, and dimensions of the artwork and place a new order that properly fills the entire business card. I would appreciate Vistaprint’s assistance in resolving this matter. My intention is to redesign the file so that the artwork extends fully to the appropriate bleed and print area and then reprint the cards through Vistaprint. Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to your response and would greatly appreciate a full refund so that I can move forward with correcting and reprinting the business cards. We are glad to hear you are happy with the quality of the printing itself, but we completely understand your frustration regarding the unexpected white sidebars and how the cropping affected your logo and overall design. Upon reviewing your file, we noticed that you selected a square business card format but uploaded a rectangle design, which is actually most suitable for our vertical template. The design was also not extended full bleed, hence the white borders. Because of this mismatch, your design and text had to be significantly reduced in size to accommodate the square shape, leaving a lot of content compressed and hard to see. To ensure your cards properly represent your business, we strongly recommend recreating your design at the proper square dimensions 2.5" x 2.5" and reuploading it so we can assist you with a replacement order. Additionally, because your card features a lot of content, we recommend using our vertical template or reducing the amount of text so that the remaining details can be made larger and more clearly visible for professional use. As a courtesy, once you have updated your design, please reach out to us and we will gladly help you get a replacement order processed.
