1. Design your USPS-compliant postcard

Start by picking a postcard size and paper, then explore our library of postcard templates. Each complies with EDDM® regulations from the USPS. Next, customize your design with your message, photos and branding, or use our design services for help creating a professional look.

2. Receive them at your home

We’ll ship your postcards to your home address with your choice of standard, express or priority shipping. They'll arrive bundled in packs of 50 or 100 for a low-hassle trip to your local post office.

3. Drop them off at a USPS office

Once you’re at the post office, choose an area code to send your postcards to. No mailing list is required, but you can filter by age group and average income if you’re interested in a certain audience. USPS will send out your postcards. You can sit back, relax and get back to running your business.

Wrong Color and Didn't Refund Me

They printed my EDDM's with the wrong background color, breaking from my companies color scheme. They told me they would refund me and I got an email saying they issued a refund - I never received the refund.

We regret to hear about the trouble with your postcards and the concern regarding your refund. To help us look into this further, could you please reply to this email with a photo of the postcards you received? We’ve also checked on the refund for the business cards, and I can confirm that it was successfully processed on August 16. Please note that, depending on your bank, it can take up to 5 business days for the funds to appear in your account. Quality but Don’t Trust The Colors

I put in the hex number for my companies forest green background - all the previews clearly showed a dark green background. My mailers arrived with a black background - luckily they still look good and it works, but they changed the background color without asking

We understand how important brand consistency is, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We’ve reviewed your submitted design and the HEX code you used for your forest green background, and we can confirm that it displayed correctly in the design preview. However, it’s important to note that our printing facility uses the CMYK color mode, which is optimized for ink-based printing. Colors viewed on screen use RGB, which tends to appear more vibrant and saturated. This difference can sometimes result in printed colors appearing darker or slightly shifted—especially with deep greens, which may lean toward black when converted to CMYK. To help resolve this, we’ve saved a copy of your design (VP COPY) from your My Projects (https://www.vistaprint.com/my-account/design/projects) and invite you to review and approve the background fill color. Once confirmed, we’ll be happy to process a free replacement order for you. Your feedback has also been shared with our design and print teams to help improve color guidance and preview accuracy. Frequently asked questions

EDDM® sizes should meet the following requirements:

Length: Between 10″ and 15″
Height: Between 12″ and 6.125″
Thickness: Between 0.75″ and 0.25”
Corner Radius: Less than or equal to 0.125”

USPS will accept cards with a length or height less than the minimum requirement, but only on one side.

If this feels a bit confusing, don’t worry. All of the EDDM® postcard sizes on this page meet USPS requirements.

With EDDM® cards, USPS will deliver your postcard to every door in an area code (unless you’ve chosen age and income filters). We send you your postcards printed and packaged, and you take them to USPS to request the service. With mailing services, we print addresses directly on your postcards and send them to USPS for you. However, you have to provide the mailing list or purchase one from our website. To design your EDDM® postcards, select a size, paper stock and paper thickness. Glossy paper works well if you plan on using photos or bright colors, while matte works best with text-heavy and darker designs.
