Our flag bases are designed for different surfaces to suit your needs:

  • Ground stake: best for grass

All our custom flags are made from durable polyester, and are classified as fire certified. Our flag poles are mostly made from fiberglass with some aluminum components. They also have a plastic hook that is used to secure the flag to the pole.

Yes. You can choose between single- or double-sided printing options on our flags. Single-sided flags are more translucent, which lets the flag design (and sunlight) shine through. Our more opaque, double-sided flags feature an additional layer of polyester between the two printed sides, increasing their durability.

The best flag for your business depends on the occasion, available space and the amount of text or branding you wish to display.

In general, our self-standing flags are better when sufficient floor and pavement is available. For all our flags, our larger sizes are designed with events and tradeshows in mind, but smaller options are also suitable in less crowded areas. They’re also lighter and more portable.

You can start with one of our professionally-designed templates or upload your own custom design. Our templates are fully editable, so you can add your logo, text, images and more. Prefer to use your own artwork? Just upload your file and we’ll take care of the rest – printing with care and delivering straight to your door.

After use, fold the fabric neatly and store it in a cool, dry place to avoid wrinkles or damage. You can also disassemble the base and poles and keep them together in a storage bag or box. Keeping everything clean and packed away properly will help extend the life of your custom flag.

If your flag gets soiled, our sail and wall flags can be machine washed on cold and air dried.

When considering your flag’s final design, it’s important to keep in mind flag placement, indoor vs. outdoor use and visibility. Customers need to be able spot your flags from far away. And if they’re displayed outdoors, motion from wind and weather can affect your message’s visibility. Overall, aim for a more simple design that passersby can recognize quickly.

How to design your own flag fast:

1. Define the job

Determine the flag’s “job”. Does it need to mark a store entrance? Catch the eye of drivers? Draw attention to a trade show booth? Thinking about your flag’s purpose will help you create the most effective design.

2. Choose the flag type

Select a flag type based on the job. For example, if you need to showcase your brand in a high-traffic area, a feather flag is a great option. A teardrop flag, on the other hand, is great for windy areas. See our options at the top of the page for suggestions on each flag type.

3. Create the layout

Keep things simple. We suggest putting a single element (like a logo) in the middle of your flag and making it bigger than you think you may need. If you’re adding any other elements like a tagline or contact info, keep it minimal.

4. Do a “distance & motion” test

Once your design is drafted, shrink it on your screen until it’s tiny. Scroll past it or squint your eyes. From there, you can see if you’ll need to make any adjustments such as increasing the contrast or removing details.

All our standing flags include a pole, ground stake and carrying case (note that they may ship separately). You can also purchase additional flag base styles.

Our wall flags are sold without poles. Pennant flags do not automatically come with accessories, however you can purchase a handheld telescopic pole, wall mount kit or snap hooks separately. Fabric-only flags do not include any accessories, however bases can be purchased separately.
