The stamp itself is really nice, however it is really too big for my purposes. This is probably my own fault, but I think clearer directions would help. I think the small is probably too small and that I probably should have tried a medium sized stamp.

I find myself trying to figure out how hard to press so that the stamp appears but not so hard that the ink bleeds together and the stamp is unreadable, but it gets the job done.

The self-inkers transfer ink from an inner pad and pre-inked stamps have an ink cell and impression pad built in.

To re-ink the stamp, follow these instructions:

  1. To re-ink your Vistaprint stamp, begin by holding the stamp base with one hand, and pulling the handle off the to reveal two round inking tubes.
  2. Carefully place a few drops of ink into each inking port, and then with a gentle downward motion, reattach the handle to the stamp base.
  3. Let your Vistaprint stamp sit overnight, allowing the fresh ink to fully saturate the internal cartridge. Test the stamp and repeat steps if necessary.

The ink used in our stamp is water/glycol-based and is recommended to be used on paper for best results. It is not recommended on fabric, plastic or any outdoor surfaces.
