We regret that your sign stand broke. Our plastic yard sign is designed to be inserted directly into soft ground by applying steady downward pressure, ideally by hand or with your foot. We do not recommend using a hammer or any striking force, as this can cause the post to bend, snap, or become misaligned. If the ground is particularly hard, we suggest softening it with water or using a tool like a screwdriver or metal rod to create pilot holes before inserting the stake.
