The size of the place cards is okay. They do not fold as shown which I do not like. I upgraded the paper thinking the card stock would be a little thicker. Instead, the place cards are shiny, which is bad to try to write on and avoid smudging.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that the place cards didn’t meet your expectations regarding the fold and writing surface. Based on our checks, your order was for 16pt Premium Glossy paper stock. Because of the glossy finish, it can be more difficult to write on without smudging, so we recommend using a permanent marker if you choose this paper type in the future. Additionally, as stated on the product page, these cards are unfolded, which may explain why they did not fold as you expected.
