With bottom flaps designed to lock securely into place, these boxes offer a robust closure at the base – reducing the risk of accidental opening or product damage. Plus, you can display your logo or message on the entire outside of the box to make your product look awesome.

Versatile sizing & secure packing

Choose from 18 size options, offering a snug fit for a multitude of products. Customize the entire exterior with full-color printing. Then finish with a lamination option that works for your custom design: matte, glossy or soft touch. Please note that lock bottom boxes require light assembly, but for heavy items, the extra protection they provide is well worth it. (For an even faster packaging option, our auto lock bottom boxes offer the same protection, but automatically lock when opened.)

Our lock bottom boxes are made from 19pt coated white paperboard.

With our 3D design studio, you can turn your logo or image into a custom design. Start by uploading your own design file. You can also add patterns, fonts or line graphics on the outside of the box. Our 3D experience helps you get a sense of what your printed boxes will look like in real life and at any angle.

When you have the box open and facing towards you, you’ll get the correct measurements by following these steps:

  • The width is measured from the left to right
  • The depth is measure from front to back
  • The height is measured from top to bottom

Note: Please remember to measure the inside of the box to see if your products will fit inside.

Absolutely. You can order 1 lock bottom box as a sample. This way, you can check the size, evaluate the print quality and preview how your design translates onto the box before making a larger order.

Our lock bottom boxes are delivered flat-packed. But don’t worry, assembly is easy – see below for instructions.

It’s easy: Start by folding the U-shaped panel, followed by tucking the side flaps beneath it. Lastly, secure the fourth panel into place. Your lock bottom box is now ready to use. For a step-by-step visual guide, please refer to our assembly video above.

Lock bottom boxes and auto lock bottom boxes provide similar level of protection, reducing the risk of accidental opening of the box’s base. Their key difference lies in the convenience of assembly: While lock bottom boxes require light assembly, auto lock boxes are designed to automatically secure into a fixed lock once opened. However, lock bottom boxes are more affordable and they can be ordered in similar quantities.
